A beautiful day mostly catching bonitos and blue runners. We were just about to reel the lines in to head back when the reel started screaming. The fish broke water immediately and then several more times through the 30 min fight on 25 lb test on a medium spinning rod with 30 lb. wire leader. It was my first sailfish. Thanks to some great coaching bringing it in I was able to get it in on that light tackle.
